This is a great lunch spot! I work around the corner from here so it's great place for a good sit down meal. Their thin crust pizza comes with the option of getting a 5 grain crust and I think it's just as good as the traditional thin crust. The Mediterranean flavor is my favorite! The only thing that I have found very inconsistent is their salads. Sometimes the greens are fresh and sometimes not so much. Today I ordered the walnut goat cheese salad and it was just OK. I have had better there before.

I can't believe I am writing a review for Pizzeria Uno's...but I don't think I have a choice in the matter. This place is the bomb diggity. Uno's recently opened and I was happy for another happy hour option being that I am employed in the Newtown Square area. The happy hour menu here is ridiculously cheap. A friend and I went one Thursday afternoon and we both had 2 beers each and shared three of their happy hour apps...4 beers (draft) + 3 apps = $22. Considering the economy, you can't beat that math! The food is as you would expect....it doesn't disappoint, it doesn't make you swoon... They have a fire place by the bar...great for a cold afternoon! What stands out most of all is the service. The staff at Uno's is so pleasant and they go above and beyond from opening the door to you as you walk in, to letting you know about the good deals and offers they have. A group of co-workers and I went after work the day before Thanksgiving. Since we had an early dismissal, we were a bit early to make the happy hour menu prices. To compensate, Uno's threw in a couple of free apps. They are literally giving food away to keep me happy and it is working! They can also help you plan a happy hour party or Christmas party! Also, good to note, they have free wifi! My friend and I are planning her wedding and we often meet after work. Uno's has proven to be the perfect spot where we can research wedding stuff and still have a few cocktails! As long as I work in Newtown Square, Uno's will be my happy hour spot!

No chain restaurant should ever really get more than 3 stars from me. I mean they're all the same really in regards to pricing, offerings, etc. However, I've been here plenty of times with my lunch group from work and the staff has always been really nice and the service was quick. Though... the 4th star is earned here on account of their awesome beer selection which is surprising for any chain restaurant.

Boring with a lack of customer service... I've been here once before a few years ago so I knew not to expect anything special. I was right. The young wait staff made me feel like they wanted to go home. They made me feel that if I ordered too much, I was holding them up. Nice... I started with an eggplant flatbread. It was pretty tasty. I was disappointed that I didn't have a plate to put my slice on. Why didn't I get a plate with my meal? I then ordered the basic chicken Alfredo, which is pretty hard to mess up. I asked if they could make it with their spicy Alfredo sauce. The waitress said they could and would take care of it for me. The dish came out, and it was the plain Alfredo sauce. I asked the waitress if she had them put the spicy sauce on and she said yes. Clearly she was lying or being lied to. Not impressed. Won't be back. Nothing else to say about this place. It's not worth my time writing this review.

Okay this place wasn't my first choice initiat but jeff (the light of my life the fire of my loins my soul my flame) my husband, wanted to come. Our waitress was kendra and she had this weird hipster wanna be type vibe going on. It was kind of off putting but whatever. The food was amazing the bar was spectacular and besides the tacky waitresses the place is awesome

This was the second time that we experienced a very long wait to receive our order. Tough pill to swallow with a 4 and 19 month old at the table. Hopefully just a bad draw on our part and not a continued trend. The Make Your Own Pizza was a hit with the 4 year old. The staff was friendly and the food was fair. If your a craft beer fan, the selection here is great. Passing by the bar area, I noticed it was packed.

It's my top place to go for a quick nice and delicious meal. Service , food and price is perfect! You never will be dissatisfied! Or they will take care of that immediately! Great place for family, friends , couple or even alone!

I have only eaten at the bar but the bartenders were great and food was good. I would return for sure. Decent amount of parking also.

The service was very good and Jenna was a great server. I had gone with my family and the seating was comfortable. We had got the shrimp and crab appetizer which was absolutely delectable! The nachos appetizer we also ordered was generously topped. I myself had the 2 for 12 and the strawberry salad was quite good and the eggplant feta flat bread was wonderful. I had the Hurricane Windy City mixed drink and it was delicious :) Overall a very good time was had by all.

Went here on a Saturday night while visiting the area. Went in and was very crowded. Got a reservation and was told that our table would be ready in about 25 minutes. About 20 minutes later we were called. The burger I had was wonderful and perfectly done to my request. However, the citrus salad, which we expected to have mandarins, was not very citrusy but still good. The atmosphere was loud, but what do you want for a sports bar. The server was wonderful and got our food to us quickly. Overall, it was a great place! I would go again!

This is definitely the place to check-out if you're gluten-free, especially if you're new to the whole GF lifestyle. They take is pretty serious here. They will allow you to sub gluten-free pizza on their lunch specials. So for about $8, I got a chicken caesar salad (no croutons) and a GF cheese pizza. The pizza was not terrible. I wanted pizza and it did the trick. The service was pretty good, too. The server was very friendly and personable. She paid attention without hovering. Gave us refills without us having to ask.

First time ever at uno! I am no food critic, but I know food! I had the chicken and broccoli Alfredo for take out. To start, the noodles, undercooked & chewy!!! The sauce, kind of watery, bland & smells like they used the sauce that came from the jar!! Very few pieces of chicken and broccoli and the chicken pieces were very small with 2 pieces of red pepper on the side. Overall, for $13.95, Id rather wait and make it myself! Not sure if I'd order from here again. If the pasta isn't right, I don't even want to know what else isn't! Unless they can make it right!

Love Uno! Stopped there many times for late night apps and deep dish pizza. reason its getting 4 stars is because the food is "chain" food. Wish they had something a little different or prepared nicer. Recommend the guacamole, firecracker, and deep dish. Do not recommend shrimp dip, burger

My company orders from here fairly often usually 10 to 15 items at a time, they always get 4 or 5 of the orders totally wrong leaving no time in our lunch to get it corrected. Food is average at best ! Don't order take out from here !!! Service is way below par

Good: Attitude, selection, consistency and value. Bad: (Well not so bad), staff. The staff is young, typically inexperienced and its a sports bar/ chain. Common courtesy on your part will not only determine the outcome of the night but possibly the overall sanity of the kid taking orders. Be attentive and active with your staff but not a sourpuss and the will gladly work with you. My experience: I come here every so often and know what to expect. The food is decent and if you get there at the right time can be cheap. Pizza, finger foods and dishes are good. One of the better chain restaurants and you may be surprised. The bar side is also nice, a little bit of everything (high top tables, lounge and bar). See my tip on this one.

  • Tara M.

Okay. Went there and yes it was crowded. We were told 30-35 minutes but I think it went quick. There was a lot of bigger parties. I was actually disgusted with this one old lady. She had a party of 9 and I guess was getting impatient. I overheard her say to the manager "is our table ready", he said there was another family there. She said "have they eatin". He said " yes they been done". She then said "well can you tell them to leave or tell me where they're and ill tell them". What nerve of this lady. If you dont like to wait, leave... your not special... Anyway as appetizers we got nachos with salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was not tasty and salsa tasted like it was from a jar but good. We also got another appetizer which is like a potato skin but not. Its actually on a pizza crust, filled with mashed potatoes topped with cheese, bacon and with sour cream. We really enjoyed that. It was actually surprisingly good. Especially with a picky eater at the table. My two friends got pizza. I didn't try it so I can't rate the pizza. I got a stuffed chicken , stuffed with spinach, broccoli, cheese etc... it was a very good portion and tasted good but wish it had as some seasoning on it. You got two sides with it. I got broccoli which was ok and also a skinless baked potato (loaded). I was not impressed with it. Didnt like it at all the appetizer potato was much better. This was kind of tasteless. Dessert... now I was going to get the big Reeses peanut butter cup but I'm glad I didnt. I decided to get the trio minis . All I can say was I loved this the portions were just right. You got to choose three out of I think four choices ( brownie sundae, white nut cookie sundae, apple sundae, peanut butter cup). I wanted the apple but they were out. So I got the cookie, brownie and peanut butter cup. The cookie and brownie were my favorite. No nuts in brownie because it is a oreo cookie brownie, you got ice cream , one scoop and fudge syrup topping. The cookie was awesome also topped with ice cream and served in a mini iron pan that it gets cooked in. Peanut butter... blah.. it was frozen so I had to wait until it soften and it wasn't a real Reeses peanut butter cup. It was a home made one and didn't taste that great. It was also topped with ice cream and syrup..

Despite it being a chain restaurant I recommended visiting Uno's for lunch. They have excellent lunch specials which include a variety of flatbread or deep dish pizzas and soup/salad.I work in the area so its a convenient stop for lunch with colleagues, they have a lunch buy 5 get 1 free frequent customer card that i recommend asking your server for.

You can not beat Uno! Every time we have gone (at least 25 times) we have had a great experience. They train their employees very well and their food is very good and consistent. Our servers always try to get us just baked breadsticks without even asking! May sound small but to us it's the extra mile that's why we keep going back. The restaurant is also very clean. If you haven't been, go it's a nice experience.

Uno Chicago Grill is a chain. A somewhat under-the-radar chain, but its a chain nonetheless. So I kept my expectations low and therefore they were easily met. I visited this location with my husband and his parents. My father-in-law is one of those people, bless his heart, that will ONLY eat a burger when we go out, despite all of us joking him about it. But at age 60, he knows what he likes and he likes a burger. Gotta admire his loyalty. However, I drew the line at serving burgers at our wedding. Someone had to draw that line. What was my point? Oh yeah, that we had to find a place with a burger. Uno Chicago Grill fit the bill in that regard. On this visit, we started out with something called "Pizza Skins". Which was a deep dish pizza filled with mashed potatoes, bacon and cheese. My taste buds enjoyed it but had I eaten more than one piece, I may have been on the toilet all night. Very rich and probably a billion calories. For my entree, I went with a side caesar salad and a half-sized thin crust pizza with eggplant, carmalized onions, tomatoes, spinach, and sundried tomatoes. The price was more than decent- $10 for a meal that was large enough for me to wrap up half to take home. The salad was meh. I've had much bettter salad out of a bag. The pizza was pretty good, but unfortunately, I'm a dumbass and ate the salad first so the pizza got cold. #firstworldproblems Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back to Uno Chicago Grill, but I'll gladly eat here if someone else really wanted to go. Its one of those places that offers a BILLION different things on the menu (perfect if you are dining with slightly picky eaters) and the prices are pretty reasonable, so it's a good spot if you want a quick bite for a small price and aren't expecting a gourmet meal.

Pizza was awesome!! I got it with the sauce on top and it came out with chunky tomatoes ... The server suggested next time to just get it with the marinara sauce since I didn't like chunky tomatoes. Great food and great service!

Compared to the other chain restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday, Outback, etc. This place is not very good. The apps were lousy, nachos not worthy, and flatbread pizzas were just avg at best, was expecting better, I would not go back.

  • Dave F.

Took my family here (2 young kids) on a Saturday night. For a chain restaurant, the food and service were definitely above average. What puts it over the top is an outstanding beer list that is better than almost any other one you will find in the 'burbs. They also did a great job with the kids-activities at the table, quick food service, make your own pizza, etc. For a place to take a young family for a decent affordable meal with really good service and outstanding beer list, this is it. We'll definitely be back. WARNING: It gets crowded quickly on the weekends. We were there at 5:45 and there was already a wait.

Dare I say UNO ! Already said it , beat you to it.. I know we remember that crazy card game we used to play, or still might? Anyway back to what is most important, this great place. Uno may be a chain restaurant located almost everywhere you go, this one located in Newtown Sq. is tops in my opinion. I do go to the one in Norristown also, seeing it is 30 seconds from my job when I need that after work drink or two. Out of the two I make frequent trips to, again this is number 1 in my opinion. Beautiful open space, great staff, AMAZING food to salivate over, and then comes the bar. A brief moment of silence, wait for it.... wait for it... yes there it is non stop applause's , clapping, angels with harps, streakers streaking, a distant shout of "Bravo " ! Too much? Sorry Yelpers if I went over the top, but this has got to be one of the best bar atmospheres out here. That's how I feel every time I come in here, I just get goose bumps thinking about those beautifully craft beers on tap. The perfect pour to satisfy my thirst, my taste buds getting ready to do the bull dance knowing once it past my lips, its game time. Plenty of selections to choose, I went with a great Pumpkin beer, smooth, rich in flavor, a great after taste to follow. Best part is it doesn't have to stop there with your choice beer. You can purchase a growlers (not expensive) have that same craft at home with a pretty awesome looking growler to go with. Next time you visit bring the growler with you, have them refill it of what ever your fancy.. BOOM what a great idea, plus you have a growler. Great selection of appetizers to choose from, their wings are great, nachos that are a mile high topped with sour cream and guacamole around the base. Looks like a minni mountain of nachos snow capped top with the valley bellow. Yea I kinda got lost there with the nachos. If you are into the "Gluten Free" they have a great section just for you. The main courses are also amazing, I have had their burgers, yea they are that good with the bread they use down to the selection of cheese. The pizza selections, basically you call it and they do it, that's how wide the selections are. Again a great staff, amazing food, spacious, plenty of TVs' to just stare at along with a wide variety of delicious tap beers. Place is clean, tables are never dirty, bathrooms (at least the men's room) were clean.

If you want to go to a restaurant/bar and get something quick to eat, this is great. Been there a few times and always get the sampler platter. Awesome variety of things to snack on. Beer selection is actually one of the better I've ran into around this area(definitely craft wise, in bottles at least). Pretty friendly group of people working every time I've been. On the cheaper side of things to.

I ordered the Mediterranean flatbread and the deep dish pepperoni pizza with raspberry lemonade. The food was delicious. The flatbread was delicious, as well as the deep dish pizza. The raspberry lemonade was tangy-sweet and it was fantastic! The only reason I have this a 4 star was because the food took very long to be served on the table.

While Uno may be a chain, I'm starting to notice that a lot fo the locations I used to dine in over the years have been closed down. I'm glad this location is still up and running. Every now and then, I get a craving for a pizza that is out of the ordinary. The shrimp, spinach and goat cheese thin crust pizza is delicious. I usually get mine on the five grain thin crust. The crust is so thin, I sometimes feel as though I'm eating cheese, spinach and shrimp on a wheat cracker. This is definitely one of my favorites. For the pepperoni lovers, the Prima Pepperoni deep dish pizza is great. It comes with chunky tomatos, mozzarella and grated romano. They can probably throw some more pepperoni on there, but overall it's pretty good. Spinoccoli is another one of my favorites. Spinach, broccoli, chunky tomatoes, feta, Cheddar, mozzarella and grated Romano on a deep dish pizza. Nice!

A crazy good burger in a pizza place! What the hell! I've been coming here for a while now specifically for the great craft beer selection. It is awesome! It certainly helps that the bartenders are almost always beautiful. I have had their sliders several times. It's not often that you can get sliders cooked the way you want them. The patties are so small that they are usually just gray. Here I order them medium and they are actually medium and delicious. I think I've had three burgers here now. One of the things I hate is burger rolls that are too big. If I get a burger served on a giant Kaiser role I am seriously pissed. It's just too much bread! Here the burgers are served on a grilled artisan challah roll. Notice I said grilled. I love it when my roll is grilled! It's not too big and matches the burger beautifully. Speaking of burgers mine is always cooked just the way I like it. The toppings here are the basics except for the cheese. You can order Yancey's spicy Buffalo Cheddar which is amazing. Warning, it is spicy. We all know that Uno's is a giant chain but they know how to do a burger right!

  • John C.

Okay. So we got the mozzeralla sticks for an appetizer and they weren't cooked all the way. We also got the deep dish pizza. I thought it was very good. The cheese wasn't cooked all they way again but the dessert brought up the rating. I got the giant Reese's cup and i was amazed on how good it was. The service was okay. I might return

You can not beat a UNO, on our visit the staff was great, the food tasty, and the drinks plentiful. We sat at a table in the bar and were well taken care of. This location is great, just close to everything, but not in the middle of all the traffic.

Came here for my friend's birthday, and had a terrible experience. I usually don't leave bad reviews on yelp, but this experience forced me to do this. When we got there, I told the waiter that it was my friend's birthday. The waiter questioned me saying that he didn't believe me. Maybe he was kidding, but I assured him that it was and that I would even pull it up on Facebook for him. Nevertheless, I guess he forgot and we didn't even get a small birthday cake/song from the staff that everyone else usually gets. Everything took extremely long: ordering, getting the food, and even paying. We asked him 3 times for more water... WATER! So we asked the hostess or someone with one of those headsets if she could find us the waiter because it was taking so long to get us water and she decides to joke around saying that "they run out of water sometimes, so it might take a while." After we ordered and finally got our food, we decided that we wanted more food so we asked the waiter for the menu. I had to ask for the menu 3 times. How hard is it to remember to bring me the menu so we could order more food? Ridiculous. On the other hand, the beer selection was great and all of the food we ordered was really good, except for the Mediterranean Pizza. It tasted like there was a whole bag of salt sprinkled on top of it. We came to here for the good food and great service that UNO is known for. This one in particular, however, failed completely on great service.

Sunday afternoon in a sports bar ... If you are like me, just the thought brings a smile to your face. So we were on the way back from a U12 soccer game in West Chester and wandered in with a modest party of 20. I've been a couple of time (great wings, love the wings) with buds from the corp center across the street. All the Dad's were taken by the extensive beer list and pretty impressive rotation. One note to the manager - those of us with 3 or more decades of beer drinking need glasses to read your menu. The print was SOOOO small! We had a bunch of pizzas, all good. Oddly, the least remarkable was the Uno Special. The Mediterranean flatbread pizza was a little salty (kalamata + feta) but had great fresh toppings like basil and baby spinach. Several dozen chickens are flightless as a result of our visit. The boys' fingers were licked clean. I thought I saw a salad go past, but nah, must have been an illusion. Service was fast and really friendly. Prices were reasonable. Place was clean and comfortable.

  • Alex S.

I would only go here for their pizza. Every other item I have had from this place is not good or overpriced. The chicken fingers were around 11 dollars. I could have made the chicken finger platter in my oven for a fraction of the price and of the same quality is not higher.

Pleasantly surprised. The parking lot appeared crowded, but we were seated immediately. The food arrived promptly and our waitress was very helpful and polite. They have a huge selection of beer. All our food was served hot, and was very fresh, unlike my experiences with other restaurants similar to this, i.e. Applebees, ruby Tuesday's etc. They have a large bar with 3 huge flat screens and 5 other normal sized tvs. There is a nice double sided fireplace where you may sit and eat your meal. Overall I think it is a very nice casual place to eat.

  • Scott F.

I've seen Uno's around in different places. I've even eaten at one or two. So explain to me how this one has one of the best beer rotations around??? The list is always changing, the bartenders are AWESOME! and during all Philadelphia sporting events they have a snack menu with prices that can't be beat. I go for Phillies and Flyers games all the time, grab a few drinks and a personal deep dish pizza and leave not spending much at all.

    (4)
  • Michael Q.

This was by far the most beautiful Uno's I have been in. The food was great the service was very friendly and helpful. It was a great lunch. I have always wondered why Uno's can never seem to get the deep dish pizza hot in the center. I have historically always had to send the pizza back to cook longer.

    (4)
  • Joshua D.

I went here with a couple of friends, we usually meet up once a month for dinner. So one of the guys choose this place, we went in and my instict told me this place must be just good for pizza, but we tried to order from their menu, we all had different choices, i ended up with their lobster slider, which was very poorly executed, the other two had something along the beef side and it was absolutely not tasty according to them. So maybe UNO should just stick to Pizza, like the name says its UNO meaning One, and the one thing should be pizza. So if you are looking for a pizza joint, thats your place.

Simply put I had a terriable time at this bar on st. patties night. I had a waiter who basically was asked by my friends to play the part of a gay guy to try to screw around with me and make me feel uncomfortable... My personal opinion the server should not have listened to my friends because it made my experiance terriable there and if i was asked by a group of people at my job to play a "prank" like this on another custmour i would not do it. Because at my job i'm in a position of authority and and that is not the way to get repeat businuess, I know that, that me and at least one of my friends did not enjoy the expierance last night. Im not gonna mention the waiters name because im not that kinda person.. I will say though for a REAL REVIEW! the food was great, service was a little slow, but then again i was there at 12am. And i think this place is a great location. I just personally wont be going in there for a while now.

Better than average chain at least this location is and managers and wait staff on top of their game...never disappointed in fish Salad or sandwich choices. Not crazy for their pizza but once you know menu they do not disappoint ... Great local choice! I never give a chain 5 stars but they are so accommodating and consistent I can't rate less. Great job Newton Square uno!!!!

Incredibly mediocre. I have never been an Uno fan - but recent visits (dragged there by my chain-loving in-laws) were surprisingly good, at the Warrington, PA location. Today's early lunch with a co-worker was a last minute decisions and the place was nearly empty when we arrived at 11:40 AM. Even still service was painfully slow. We both ordered off the "super fast" (10 minutes or less) lunch menu and both ordered nearly the same thing - salads with 2 sliders. After about 13 minutes we got fidgety, and finally EVERYTHING came out at once. Salad was on rusty lettuce (I opted for the Garden Salad as I feared the Caesar would be only romaine and croutons) with ONE tomato wedge and ONE Slice of cucumber. Oy. Sliders were OK but VERY salty (due to the cheddar cheese). Would NOT order this $7.99 deal ever again. Server admitted to us she was exhausted from the night before. Sorry, UNO, today's lunch was a fail.

Seriously love this place! This is me and my best friends go to spot when she's in town! We are usually seated right away but if there us a wait time, we hit the bar for a drink. We always get the Field Greens with Goat Cheese and Walnut salad to start. Followed by a individual deep dish pizza on reg crust. If your going to cheat on your diet, may as well do it right!

I'm always impressed when I come in here. Great drink selection for a chain restaurant and the food doesn't disappoint either. Obviously the famous Chicago pizza is what they are known for and it does deliver. Be wary about ordering too much as the exact size of each pie will catch you by surprise. Fun selection of appetizers and plenty of TV's all around to keep you entertained. I believe appetizers are also discounted late at night. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

My husband and I had a dinner meal at UNO in Newtown Sqare a couple of nights ago. We anticipated the haddock. We both chose salad as one of our sides. The salad was large and very good. When our haddock arrived the servings were very small (about 2"x3" . It was dry (overlooked). Our waiter, Brian was excellent! We did not complain about our meal but decided we liked the restaurant but would not recommend the haddock. Our observation was that the bar seemed to be the most popular place. Ed and Toni Mc?

Beautiful place - bar area packed with video screens. In fact, plenty of video screens in the dining area as well. Food is ridiculously cheap. I took my son and his friend. The tab for 2 beers, appetizers, pizza and desert was only $58.00 including tax. The deep dish pizza was a little dry; we asked for more sauce and it tasted much better. If you are a beer connoisseur, you will love their beer selection. Top notch.

This is nothing like the UNO I remember from the 80's, the food is great but the beer selection is outstanding. One of the best beer lists in the area (second only to TJ's and the Flying Pig).

I've been a couple of times recently and the food has just been subpar. The famed deep dish pizza, of which I was a fan, made me feel quite queasy the last time I ordered it. After just 2 pieces I was done. This last time a burger which promised ample guacamole came with such a small amount of the good, green stuff that the waiter could not ID the type of burger he was serving. Fries were limp and average. It's a chain, sure, but somebody back there should care about the food that goes out. That's all, just care.

We took a group here for dinner a week ago and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a big fan of Chicago style pizza and I has a unique opportunity because I had just come home from Chicago, where I had eaten at Gino's East in Rosemont, IL. I had the same type of pizza from each - deep dish (duh - don't go here for thin crust pizza), with sausage chunks, cheese and chopped tomatoes. I assumed that the "authentic" Gino's East pie would be better, but as it turned out, I thought the Uno's one was a bit better. As others noted, the beer selection was great. I had not read reviews so this was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that service was not real brisk. We were in no hurry so it didn't much matter, but it seemed like they needed a few more servers.

Good food & good beer also great service. I come here often. I wish they had a bigger appetizer list but still worth going to and I will be back.

This restaurant is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Their boneless buffalo wings were HUGE! I have taken my girl to this place several times and it has been a positive visit each time. Look forward to going back.
